CE My Family for Pocket PC

Screen Shots

CE My Family on the Pocket PC has three main screens, represented as Tabs across the bottom of the application, as shown below.

The 'Individual' Tab is where you may select an individual to display their vital information.

There is a drop-down (showing 'Death Date/Place') that expands, allowing for the selection of other fact Date and Place fields.

Additionally, on this Tab, the Selected File is displayed in a drop-down that can be used to switch to other files.

The Family Tab allows the user to view the information in family groups.

The 'Husband', 'Wife' and 'Children' command buttons (that also function as field labels) are used to add additional people to your data file. The three curved-arrow icons are used to navigate up and down generations.

The 'Husband' and 'Wife' drop-down fields display all spouses of the other individual. For example, expanding Dads Name's drop-down would display all of Mom Maidenname's husbands. Selecting another name form the drop-down moves to the selected couples family.
The Source/Notes Tab includes a large Notes field that is pre-loaded with a verity of information from the originating GEDCOM file.

The Notes field has full read-write capability, however, there are special characters used during the editing of any text that was imported from the original GEDCOM file. These editing characters (or 'tags') are needed to identify the edited text passages for later Edit Report generation.

The smaller Source field at the bottom (which is read only) expands when it is tapped. This field contains Source information from the original GEDCOM file.
